Wisconsin Heart Disease and Stroke Alliance

The Alliance has brought together resources and expertise from a wide variety of organizations to promote cardiovascular health and reduce the impact of heart disease and stroke in Wisconsin. This multidisciplinary group works to develop integrated solutions that will influence policies, change systems and environments, and modify both personal and collective behavior.

The Alliance meets three times each year, primarily in Madison, for half-day sessions. During the meetings, participants work together to implement the state plan. The sessions also act as a forum for sharing data, identifying areas of need, providing updates regarding cardiovascular health and treatment, and disseminating news about interventional projects.

The Alliance meeting is on February 3, 2012.  It will be held from 11:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. at the American Family Insurance (exit DHS), 6000 American Parkway, Madison, WI 53718.
