Clubhouse Programs

Clubhouse programs are an important part of Wisconsin's recovery oriented, consumer-driven services.  They provide peer support, social interaction, vocational, recreational and re-integration services for individuals with mental health disorders.  These locations are places where "members" share in their own recovery process by working and socializing together in a safe and welcoming community-based environment that complements available psychiatric treatment. Wisconsin has five clubhouses modeled after the Fountain House (exit DHS).

• Grand Avenue Club in Milwaukee
• Yahara House in Madison
• Racine Friendship Clubhouse (formerly Harbor House) in Racine
• Spring City Corner Clubhouse in Waukesha (operated by St. Aemilian-Lakeside, Inc.)
• Community Corner in Wausau
