DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES APPOINTS KYLE O’BRIEN AS LEGISLATIVE ADVISOR

MADISON—Department of Health Services Secretary Dennis Smith today named Kyle O’Brien as Legislative Advisor. O’Brien begins his new role immediately.

“Kyle’s background working with the Wisconsin Legislature and serving as lead legislative staff member on health topics with the Joint Finance committee make him well suited to serve as our liaison to the Legislature,” Smith said. “Our Department will benefit from his policy and legislative expertise as well as his leadership skills.”

O’Brien’s background includes business and promotions experience. He served on the Wisconsin National and Community Service Board and also as an intern in the Northern Ireland Assembly through the Young Ambassador program. O’Brien received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
