ALEX IGNATOWSKI APPOINTED AS LEGISLATIVE ADVISOR FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES

MADISON—Department of Health Services Secretary Dennis G. Smith today named Alex Ignatowski as Legislative Advisor. Ignatowski begins his new role immediately.

“Alex’s background will provide a good foundation for his role as our liaison to the Legislature,” Smith said. “Our Department will benefit from his leadership skills.”

Ignatowski comes to the Department from Governor Walker’s Office working as the Director of Operations and Assistant to the Chief of Staff. He previously worked in constituent services in the Office of Congressman Paul Ryan. Ignatowski received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and spent a fall term at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.
