DEPARTMENT AWARDS MANAGED CARE CONTRACT TO SOUTHWEST FAMILY CARE ALLIANCE

MADISON—The Department of Health Services, Division of Long Term Care, has made an award to contract with Southwest Family Care Alliance as a Managed Care Organization (MCO) for the delivery of Family Care services. The service region includes Family Care members in Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pierce, and St. Croix counties.

Southwest Family Care Alliance submitted the highest scoring proposal. The organization currently serves Family Care members in Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Juneau, Lafayette, Richland and Sauk counties.

The completion of this competitive process permits the Department to work with this MCO to ensure the provision of managed long-term care supports and services previously provided by Community Health Partnership.
