Division of Public Health
Spotlight
The Division of Public Health (DPH) is responsible for providing public health
services to the people of Wisconsin. The Division includes programs
that address environmental and occupational health, family and community health,
emergency medical services and injury prevention, chronic disease prevention and health
promotion, and communicable diseases. It is also responsible for
issuing birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates as well as
collecting statistics related to the
health of Wisconsin's population.
