"The posters in this collection represent first, second, and third place winners (exit DHS) from grades pre-kindergarten to high school for the 2013 "My Feelings Matter" poster contest. A new contest for 2014 (exit DHS) has begun and entries will be accepted until March 8, 2014. Participation in the "My Feelings Matter" poster contest is one way to draw attention to the importance of our internal well-being. The following age groups are eligible to participate: preschoolers, K-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, 6th-8th grade, and high school. The contest is hosted by the Wisconsin Children’s Mental Health Matters Coalition.

At each stage of development, from birth to adulthood, we know that mental health matters and that we all have a role in supporting optimal mental health for our children. Wisconsin now has a toolkit for communities to promote the socio-emotional well-being of all children and increase awareness of the importance of mental health."
