Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for Medicaid and
BadgerCare Plus Members
To comply with federal and state law, the Department of
Health Services must provide non-emergency medical transportation to

the Department released a request for proposals for a statewide Medicaid
and BadgerCare Plus Non-Emergency Medical Transportation manager.
On April 11, 2013, the Department announced its intent to contract
Medical Transportation Management, Inc. (MTM, Inc.) as Wisconsin's
non-emergency medical transportation manager.
On May 8, 2013, the Department announced that it has
entered into a contract with Medical Transportation Management, Inc. and
as of August 1, 2013, MTM, Inc. will begin managing non-emergency medical
transportation services in Wisconsin.
