MISSION STATEMENT

CACHET's Mission is to advise DHS on the prioritization of health care services so that resources for the most persons are used most effectively. CACHET will use evidence-based research to specifically define the appropriate use of a particular service/procedure for a particular condition. To achieve this goal, CACHET will advise DHS on how to adjust benefits and control costs using evidence-based medicine, comparative effectiveness research, use of national centers of excellence, appropriate used of step therapy, and overall integration of quality and pay for performance initiatives.
