Elder abuse is a growing problem across the nation.
According to the National
Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA), a combination of psychological, social, and
economic factors, along with the mental and physical conditions of the victim
and the perpetrator, contribute to the occurrence of elder maltreatment.
It has
been estimated that roughly two-thirds of all elder abuse perpetrators are
