Keys to Professional Caregiving Training
Training Overview:
This interactive training focuses on improving communication skills for
direct caregivers by focusing on communication styles, resolving conflict,
assertive communication, observing professional boundaries, and
professional success in the workplace. The
training stresses that better communication skills lead to improved
client care and reduce the potential for caregiver misconduct.
Training Goals:
- Understanding how style affects communication
- Using your communication style effectively
- Maintaining professional boundaries
- Demonstrating professionalism in the workplace - NEW
Training Logistics:
The full training is about 6 hours in length but can be broken into
four shorter segments of roughly 90 minutes each.
