Annual Performance Report
The Annual Performance Report (APR) must be submitted annually by
February 1st of each year. Federal requirements specify that the state shall
report annually to the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) Secretary and the
public on the performance of the state under the State Performance Plan (SPP).
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act requires that the DOE Secretary make an
annual determination as to whether each state is meeting the requirements of the statute,
based on the data submitted in the APR and other available information. Individuals can
