Physical Therapy
Each department provides evaluations of the
resident's level of functioning, including recommendations for apartment staff and
community staff, active treatment and equipment in the following areas:
Occupational Therapy: Sensory awareness,
visual spatial awareness, body integration, cognition/judgement, fine motor coordination,
strength, endurance, range of motion, reflexes and tone, activities of daily living,k oral
motor function, adaptive equipment and splints.
Physical Therapy: Gross motor skills, reflexes and
tone, range of motion, musculoskeletal abnormalities, adaptive equipment and splints, post
surgical care.
