Agency
for Toxic Substances and Diseases Registry (ATSDR)
Specific toxicological information about hazardous
materials, along with information about emergency response, including the
publication "Medical Management Guidelines for Acute Chemical
Exposures".

This illustrated E-Tool from the U.S. Department of Labor,
Occupational Safety and Health Administration, contains information about
ammonia safety and health, receiving and storage, emergency response, and
general safety, and contains a plant safety self-inspection checklist.
National
Response Center
The Federal government's
mechanism for emergency response to discharges of oil and the release of
chemicals into the navigable waters or environment of the United States
and its territories. Includes the environmental response
notification system, a toll-free number for reporting oil, chemical and
other types of spills and releases.

Response Center, Data Query Page - Provides the ability
to query and/or download nationwide information about spills and
releases that have been reported to the NRC.
NIOSH
Pocket Guide To Chemical Hazards
Provides
general industrial hygiene information on several hundred chemicals for
workers, employers, and the general public. Easy to access within this
site, the NIOSH Pocket Guide (NPG) presents key information and data about
substances (or substance groupings) found in the work environment.
U.S.
Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board
Provides
information about current and completed investigations, along with safety
publications and recommendations. Note: the CSB is an independent federal
agency whose mission is to prevent industrial accidents and save lives.
It's ultimate goal is to determine the root cause of accidents.

States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
A
broad range of environmental "Key Topics",
including information about emergencies and chemical emergency
preparedness and prevention.

Works
