Renewal Help
All people enrolled in Wisconsin's ForwardHealth
Programs (FoodShare, Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, Family Planning Only
Services and Caretaker Supplement) are required to do a renewal.
You can
renew your FoodShare, Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus and Family Planning Only
Services benefits online, by mail or phone. Please keep in mind, if
you are enrolled in more than one program, you may be able to renew all
programs at the same time online at ACCESS.wi.gov.
For Caretaker Supplement, you must renew by phone, mail
or in person.
Please note: If you are enrolled in the
BadgerCare Plus Core Plan you must do you renewal online at ACCESS.wi.gov
or by calling the Enrollment Services Center at 1-800-291-2002.
For FoodShare, you must have an interview to complete
your renewal. You will receive a letter from your agency at least
45 days before your renewal is due which will tell you how to get an
appointment for your interview. Your interview will be done by
phone, unless you ask to have it in person.
If you already have a MyACCESS account:

Click on “Login to Account.”

Enter your User ID and Password and click the Login button.

Once on your MyACCESS page, look for the alert that says “Benefit Renewals Due For.”

Click on one of the program names to start your renewal.
If you do not have a MyACCESS account:

Click on “Create an Account” and follow the steps to set up an account.

You will see a message that says “Congratulations! You have created your secure MyACCESS account”. Click on the Click here link to go to your MyACCESS page.

Enter your User ID and Password and click the Login button.

Once on your MyACCESS page, look for the alert that says “Benefit Renewals Due For.”

Click on one of the program names to start your renewal.
Preprinted Renewal/Mail
If you are enrolled in BadgerCare Plus Standard or
Benchmark Plans, you may
receive a Preprinted Renewal Packet. The packet will have an
Application Summary preprinted with the information we have for you on
file. You will be asked to review this information and make any changes
you have on the summary. Also included is a Renewal Signature page, you
must sign and return the completed renewal packet with any proof
required to the agency.
If you do not get a Preprinted
Renewal Packet and want to use this to renew your benefits, contact your local
agency and ask to have one sent to you. You may also complete an application for each program you
want to renew.
Please note: For SeniorCare members, a preprinted
renewal form will be send to you about 45 days before your renewal
is due.
Phone
If you choose to do your renewal by phone, you will need
to contact your agency to set up a time for an appointment.
Proof/Verification
To
complete your renewal, you may be required to provide proof of your
answers. You will get a
letter about the proof you are required to send.
