• CARES Updates for November have been published.

• The ECF Document Routing Rules for Managers and CARES Coordinators course is now available in the DHS IM Learning Center.  This course is for IM, CC, and W-2 Managers and CARES Coordinators. These new routing rules apply to documents scanned after November 1.  At least one manager or coordinator from each agency is strongly encouraged to attend.

• DHS has recently purchased Adobe Connect Pro, a web conferencing and eLearning application.  IM Agencies are encouraged to purchase PC headsets with microphones for all IM staff. Test your PC for compatibility, see the meeting attendee requirements, or see a demo (audio required, press play to begin). IM agency staff do NOT need to purchase any software for this application.

• CARES Updates for July have been published.

• All agencies must upgrade their ECF scanner software to Kofax 9 by August 15. See the ECF Handbook section 3.6b for instructions.  Section 2.1 gives background information on this project.

• A new webpage showing changes made to IM Training courses has been added. Online trainings that have been edited since May 2010 will now have cover sheets showing the changes, similar to the online handbooks. See the IM Training Updates page here, or in the Training Section of the EM Homepage.

• The April FoodShare At A Glance has been published. 

• The Systems Gateway Help Page lists Security/Help desk info for all the systems IM workers use. See http://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/em/gw/gateway-help.htm 

• A glossary of IM terms and acronyms was added to the EMGlobal Handbook.  All glossary words from the handbooks that make up the EM Global Handbook were added.  Note that this handbook is secure and requires a WAMS ID and password.

• The new IM Agency Training Coordinators list has been published.

• The new DCF-DECE Child Care Administrator’s Memos  link was added to this page in the Memo Series section.

• The new DHS FSET (FoodShare Employment and Training) site was published on September 25, 2009. It describes the program, explains FSET funding, lists provider resources and agency info, and includes an FAQ page.

• Release 09-03 of the FSET Handbook was made on September 24, 2009.

• Release 09-03 of the FoodShare Handbook was made on September 22, 2009.

• The Ops Memo Page has been updated to include the programs that each memo pertains to.

• Ops Memo 09-42 Job Access Loan (JAL) Centralization was published on July 21, 2009.

• Release 09-01 of the new Call Center Anywhere (CCA) Handbook was made on July 16, 2009.  Call Center Anywhere is telephonic software that call centers and help desks use to answer, route, and track telephone calls. It can also be used to receive faxes.  Right now only DHS staff use this software, but in the future IM agency staff may begin to use CCA.

• Release 09-02 of the FSET Handbook was made on July 14, 2009.

• Release 09-02 of the Caretaker Supplement Handbook was made on July 14, 2009.

• Release 09-02 of the FoodShare Handbook was made on June 26, 2009.

• Two new IM Agency lists were added to the IM Agency List page.  The IM Agency Homeless Mail Pickup Sites list will be used by ESC staff to direct Homeless Core Plan members to the right location for their mail. The QUEST Vault Card Coordinators (QVCC) list will be used by ESC staff to direct Core Plan members to the correct site to pick up QUEST vault cards.

• Release 09-01 of the ACCESS Handbook was made on June 9.  The effective date is June 15, 2009.

• The April 2009 FoodShare At A Glance was published at http://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/foodshare/fsataglance.htm 

• Release 09-04 of the Process Help was made on June 5, 2009.

• Release 09-03 of the Medicaid Eligibility Handbook was made on June 5, 2009. 

• Several important Operations Memos (OM 09-29 through 09-34) were released on May 22, 2009.

• The new SSI-E, SSI-Admin, and FSET Handbooks have been added to the EMGlobal Handbook.  The EMGlobal Handbook is a secure handbook (CARES users only) that can search for a term in all of the EM handbooks simultaneously.

• The FSET Handbook is now located on the DHS site. The old FSET Manual has been removed from the DCF site.  Release 09-01 was made on May 1, 2009.
