EMS System Statistics
The Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Unit,
located in
the Bureau of Communicable Diseases and Emergency Response, is charged with developing and maintaining an
EMS delivery system throughout Wisconsin. Our system provides consistent high quality
care to pre-hospital and interfacility patients. The Wisconsin EMS Office provides leadership, quality assurance,
administration, training, coordination, and technical assistance to all EMS
personnel and providers.
The Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services Unit staff are responsible for
licensing and coordinating the following statewide services and activities.
