Commodity Supplemental Food Program

Eligibility | Counties Served | Income Guidelines | Available Foods | Additional Food Resources

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides supplemental foods donated by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). The program also provides nutrition education to eligible persons through state and local agencies.

The overall goal of CSFP in Wisconsin is to initiate the program as a benefit to eligible seniors, and as an extension of the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in Wisconsin. (Mothers and children may not participate in WIC and CSFP at the same time.)

The CSFP program fact sheet provides additional detailed information. (exit DHS; PDF, 53 KB)
