Local areas for which statistics are available include Wisconsin's
counties
and regions, and the state's largest cities when possible. Please note that most other pages in the Health Statistics site also
provide local information for specific topics.
- The WISH data query system
lets you submit detailed data requests and receive specific answers (tables)
over the Internet. WISH uses protected databases containing data on Wisconsin
births, deaths, population, injuries, behavioral risks, and violent deaths,
for multiple years and geographic areas.
- The Public Health Profiles are published annually
and provide concise health and demographic information about each county in Wisconsin.
- Local Data on Poverty Status and Health Insurance
Coverage in Wisconsin: Web tables for counties, regions, and the state
that provide estimates of the number and percent of the population by poverty status,
health insurance coverage over the past year, and type of health insurance.
- Wisconsin Local Health Department Survey:
This annual report is compiled from the responses of local health departments to surveys
of their finances and staffing.
- Public Health Information Network:
Includes access to the AVR (Analysis, Visualization, and Reporting) toolset, and WEDSS
(Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System). Requires Wisconsin user ID and
password.
- Public Health Workforce Report: This report presents a variety of
data on the public health workforce in Wisconsin. It supports the Healthiest Wisconsin 2020 infrastructure priority
to develop "a diverse, sufficient and competent public health workforce."
