Tuberculosis (TB) Only Related Services is
ForwardHealth’s plan for those who have been diagnosed with tuberculosis
but do not meet the rules to enroll in Wisconsin Medicaid or BadgerCare
Plus. The TB-Only Related Services Plan helps pay some medical costs for
the care of tuberculosis (TB) infection or TB disease.
To enroll in this plan, a person must meet
income and asset rules and have been infected with TB. For one person,
the monthly income limit is $1,481 (gross) and the asset limit is $2,000
or less.
For a minor, age 18 or younger living at home,
some of the parents’ income and assets may be counted.
TB-Only Related Services will ONLY cover
services directly related to the care of TB. These include:
-
Physician services,
-
Prescription drugs,
-
Laboratory test and x-rays,
-
Clinic services,
-
Services designed to encourage completion
of treatment, and/or
-
Services needed due to side effects of
prescribed drugs for TB care.
Please Note: This plan does not pay for
hospital stays or room and board.
