The Annual Recertification Process
Each CRS consumer must be recertified on an annual basis. In order to utilize the process described herein, recertification must take place within the month that the consumer was originally certified, but prior to or on the original approval date. If the consumer's certification lapses, regardless of the length of such lapse, the care manager must follow the process for initial certifications.
