Along with being an excellent source of computerized information, WMHI Library and Media Center also provides the following services to both staff and patients.  These services include:
  • General reference and book collection, books on tape, videos, newspapers, and magazines
  • Automated Catalog System
  • InterLibrary Loans
  • Patient Programs

The Library / Media Center is open Monday through Friday 8 AM - 4 PM.   Library night is on Thursday from 6 - 8 PM.

Library Information Network @ Winnebago

The Library Information Network is a service provided by Winnebago Mental Health Institute.  This information network, created in July 1998, serves all staff in the Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Department of Health Services.  The services provided by this Library include loaning of books and videos as well as providing photocopies of journal articles; literature searching; acquiring books and other materials from other libraries on loan for all staff; support in searching for resources on the Internet; and table of contents information.
