"I am very pleased that Mark Thomas will be joining the Department of Health Services," said Secretary Timberlake. "Mark brings extensive management experience in a variety of settings, and a passion for the work of this department and the people we serve. Mark's experience and his commitment to delivering the best in health and human services programs will be tremendous assets to the Department."

"I am very excited to be joining the team," Thomas said. "I look forward to working with knowledgeable professionals who are dedicated to providing high quality services to our citizens each and everyday. It will be my honor to serve the residents of the State of Wisconsin."

Thomas has most recently served as the Executive Director of Camp Whitcomb/Mason, owned and operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. Thomas previously served as chief operating officer of Family House, a central-Milwaukee residential facility serving individuals 55 and older and people with disabilities.
