Medical Reserve Corps

The Racine County MRC was established in 2012 by former members of a larger, six-county MRC Unit. RCMRC serves the nearly 195,000 residents of Racine County, is partnered with and housed at the City of Racine Health Department.

RCMRC seeks to maintain a healthy community by assisting the City of Racine and Central Racine County Health Departments with community outreach, first aid, and other support services at local events. The Unit also aims to aid Racine County Emergency Management officials with local exercises and events, and to coordinate with local hospitals to supplement medical surge capacity when needed. The Unit seeks to recruit, train, and retain volunteers from within the community, both medical and non-medical, to serve these functions.
