Minority Health Community GrantsRFA # G1693-DPH-BCThe Wisconsin Department of Health Services/Division of Public Health is soliciting applications from non-profit 501 (c) (3) organizations serving minority communities, to conduct activities related to elimination of health disparities in Wisconsin. These grants are used to fund projects that focus on the root causes of health disparities, also known as socioeconomic determinants of health (e.g., lack of education, poverty, racism and other forms discrimination, unemployment, unhealthy environment, poor housing conditions and violence). Preference will be given to organizations that address "social change" as part of their work and to organizations that serve more than one racial or ethnic group.
