Wisconsin Administrative Code HFS 133 Revisions
Revisions to Chapter HFS 133, Wisconsin Administrative Code for
home health licensure, became effective on May 1, 2001. The Bureau of
Quality Assurance (BQA) will begin surveying for compliance with the
revised HFS 133 beginning on July 1, 2001. A copy
of the revised rule (exit
DHFS), dated April 2001 is attached. The following areas of HFS
133 have been revised:

HFS 133.02 (5m), (6g), (6m), (8m), and (12m), Definitions

HFS 133.03 ((3)(h), Application, (4)(b), (4)(c),and (4)(d), Issuance
of license, (8), Hearings, (9), Reporting

HFS 133.04(4), Inspections

HFS 133.06(4)(d)1, Employee health
-
HFS 133.09 (3), Discharge of patients.

HFS 133.10(1), Required services

HFS 133.14(6), Contracted registered nursing services

Answers
BQA received the attached memorandum, ref. S&C
01-14, dated April
23, 2001, from the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), Survey and
Certification Group. The memo provides guidance on the home health issues
listed below to HCFA regional office and state agency survey and
certification personnel.
