Heat Awareness

The purpose of this memo is to introduce Heat Awareness information that was developed by Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) and the National Weather Service (NWS).

On June 11, 2009, Heat Awareness Day was proclaimed by Governor Jim Doyle.  Attached you will find information that brings to your attention the significance of taking precautions and reminding people of the dangers associated with extreme heat.
