The purpose of this memorandum is to provide the most recent version of the
administrative rule governing home health agencies. Effective October 1, 1999, minor
changes were made to this rule without DHFS going through rulemaking under the Revisor of
Statutes statutory authority. The changes include:

Changing the Chapter number prefix from HSS 133 to HFS 133.

Updating the Department name in the "Department" definition from the
Department of Health & Social Services (DHSS) to the Department of Health & Family
Services (DHFS).

Updating Bureau and Division names and the P.O. Box number in a note.
-
Changing the Administrative hearings office from DHFS Office of Administrative Hearings
to the Department of Administration (DOA) Division of Hearings and Appeals.
