Heat Awareness
The purpose of this memo is to share a recent press release issued by the
Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs, Division of Emergency Management
and information issued by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services
identifying the dangers associated with extreme heat and humidity and ways
to promote safety.
Attached is information identifying individuals who are at high risk for
heat related illness and precautions that can reduce the effects of the
extreme heat and humidity.
For more information on heat-related health concerns, contact your Local
Public Health Department.
