Wisconsin Tobacco
Prevention and Control Program
Community Programs
Local organizations and leaders are central to the fight
against tobacco use. Every county in Wisconsin has individuals and groups
fighting to reduce the death and disease caused by tobacco use and the
exposure to second-hand smoke. On this page, you will find information on
programs and activities in your city or county, and information on the
death and disease caused by smoking in your county.
Wisconsin has over 40 local coalitions working to prevent and reduce
the death, disease, and health care costs caused by tobacco use. These
coalitions work on youth prevention, clean indoor air, treating tobacco
addiction, and
other community initiatives.
