Integrated Care Organizations
Integrated Care Organizations (ICOs) are the managed care entities that
will operate the Virtual PACE demonstration program. DHS is using a
phased certification process to determine ICO capability to operate the
program.
Certification of ICOs
DHS has reviewed applications received from four applicants for Phase
One of the Virtual PACE Integrated Care Organization (ICO) certification
process. The Phase One Summary
(PDF, 20 KB) briefly describes each applicant and the results of
the Phase One review. DHS has approved one applicant to proceed to Phase
Two, and will work with the other three to identify solutions to unmet
Phase One requirements.
