Consumer Satisfaction with Wisconsin's Public Mental Health Services
DCTS works with the University of Wisconsin Survey Center to distribute a satisfaction survey to consumers of public mental health services across the state.
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and Programs Provided by Wisconsin Counties and Regions Across Two Years
Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 51.42(7)(d), in January of odd numbered years, DCTS is required to report to the state Legislature on mental health and substance abuse services provided by county agencies.
Regional Shared-Services Pilots: Final Report
This report (PDF) offers a summary of the work completed by the Department of Health Services and two groups of counties to implement a shared-services model for delivering a core set of mental health and substance use services across all member counties. This work was performed from 2012-2016, following a statewide, long-range evaluation of public mental health and substance use services in Wisconsin.
Milwaukee County Mental Health Board Annual Funding Allocation Study
Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 51.41 (8)(a), the Milwaukee County Mental Health Board is required to submit a report on the funding allocations for mental health programs and services by March 1 every year.

Milwaukee County Mental Health Board Analysis of Funding Alternatives
Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 51.41 (8)(b), the Milwaukee County Mental Health Board was required to arrange for a study to be conducted on alternate funding sources for mental health services and programs.

Review of Milwaukee County Behavioral Health System
Pursuant to 2013 Wisconsin Act 203 Section 53(4)(a), in 2014, the Department of Health Services reviewed the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health System and offered recommendations to the Governor on opportunities that can improve outcomes for residents living in Milwaukee County who are in need of mental health services.
