Below are a variety of resource links for any Service Director to use in efforts to maintain compliance with Wisconsin Statute 256 and Administrative Code DHS 110. Per DHS 110.48, "An emergency medical service provider shall have a service director who shall:
- Serve as the primary contact between the emergency medical service provider and the department.
- Assure that all elements of the operational plan are kept current.
- Assure that EMS personnel are properly licensed and credentialed.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of the ambulance service provider's operations."
If you know of another resource that could be of assistance to a Service Director, please let your EMS Program Coordinator know, and we will consider adding it to this page for all to benefit.
