The Human Resources Office at each facility of the Department accepts applications for many health care positions. For a complete listing of addresses and contact persons for each of our facilities located throughout the state.
Jobs listed for the continuous acceptance of applications: Applications are accepted continuously by each facility for each job listed below unless otherwise stated in the listing. This means that, if a full-time or part-time vacancy does not currently exist when you apply, you will be considered for any vacancy that does occur up to six months after your application is received. If you remain interested after that time, you may request your name be reactivated on the register for another six months. The contact person at each facility can inform you about current and anticipated vacancies.
Jobs listed until the application deadline or until they are filled: Some listings indicate a specific deadline date, or that an initial review will be conducted for applications received by a certain date, or that "applications will be accepted until the needs of the service are met". When a position is listed in this manner, it will be removed from the listing at the appropriate time (e.g., the deadline date, after the initial review date if we have a sufficient supply of qualified candidates or when there are no longer any vacancies or anticipated vacancies.) Also, at that time, applications will no longer be accepted.
Note: Due to the patient/resident working relationship each applicant must sign an authorization to permit the Department of Health Services to conduct a security check with the Department of Justice. This is required by law to document that any person who may be appointed has not been convicted of a crime related to the disregard of or inappropriate relationship with vulnerable persons akin to the persons the appointee will serve.
How to Apply: Follow the instructions listed in the job announcement for the position(s) you are interested in and qualified for.
