About Mental Health Teleconferences

Teleconferences are held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every other Thursday.

Reasonable accommodation requests need to be made four weeks in advance of the teleconference.

You may register for any teleconference at the Teleconference Registration site. Please register for any new teleconferences you would like to attend that you have not previously registered for. For registration questions, call telephone: (608) 261-6743.

Continuing Education

Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) are provided: one CEH per teleconference hour. Please contact the Department of Safety and Professional Services for more information regarding your license's requirements for continuing education: http://dsps.wi.gov/Licenses-Permits/Credentialing/Health-Professions

Reminders for a Successful Teleconference:

  1. Call (877) 820-7831 before 11:00 a.m. and enter the passcode 107633#, when prompted.

  2. Observe client confidentiality guidelines.

  3. Listening to the teleconference with a group of colleagues is encouraged.

  4. Typically, Q & A is at the end of the teleconference. You will be asked to un-mute yourself by pressing *6 on your phone if you would like to ask a question.

  5. When finished, please fill out the online teleconference evaluation. You are required to complete the evaluation if you would like CEHs.

  6. Certificates of Attendance for the teleconference are mailed out twice a year (January and July).
