What's New in Public Health Nursing

What is Public Health to You?  This two-minute video was created by the Wood County Health Department. See real-life daily examples of what public health is and does to protect and promote the health of the communities in north-central Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Public Health Nurse Orientation Courses are five web-delivered modules for orientation of public health nurses. These online courses cover the Wisconsin Public Health Nursing Practice Model and statutory requirements for public health nursing services in Wisconsin. The target audience includes public health nurses, public health nurse managers, nurse educators, nursing students, and other public health staff. Each course is designed to assist participants in gaining the knowledge and skills needed to address new and emerging issues in public health nursing.
