National data is available to compare states based on the percentage of people in each state who are overweight or obese.  Listed below are the rankings of states based on Body Mass Index (BMI) calculations from responses to height and weight survey questions.  A ranking of 1 indicates the state with the lowest percent of its adult (18 and older) population as overweight or obese.
