People First
Opened in 1919, Southern Wisconsin Center (SWC) serves adult clients with intellectual disabilities combined with other physical or mental health disorders. SWC provides a wide variety of programs and opportunities to assist and prepare these adults to successfully live in the setting that best meets their needs. SWC is one of three centers for individuals with intellectual disabilities managed by the Division of Care and Treatment Services [1].
