Radioactive Materials: Reciprocity

The Department of Health Services (DHS) will reciprocally recognize a radioactive material license issued by another agreement state or the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) if the licensee conducts licensed activities in Wisconsin for no more than 180 days in a calendar year.

DHS will also accept an individual radiographer's certification if the individual or company submits to DHS a clear, legible, copy (front and back) or a valid certification from the states or entities providing radiographer certification.
