A permit that allows a person to be part of a legal ambulance crew prior to receiving a full EMT-basic license.

Training

Description

Any individual who is licensed to administer basic life support and to properly handle and transport sick, disabled or injured individuals.

Duration

Twelve months from issue date.

Prerequisites

At least 17 years of age, no substantially related arrest or conviction record, and current certification as a Wisconsin first responder, or evidence of the successful completion of he first 46 hours of a current EMT-basic training course provided by a WI approved training center, or evidence of a current EMT license issued by another state, and affiliated with an EMT basic licensed service.
