The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) Center for Career Development and Employability Training (CCDET) and the Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) are pleased to announce upcoming caregiver workshops in April and May 2016 in the Madison, Green Bay and Milwaukee areas. April and May 2016
  • Continuing Education for Caregivers: Training for Trainers
  • Investigating and Reporting Allegations of Misconduct (for nursing homes and non-nursing homes)
In partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Long Term Care, and a designated group of stakeholders, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) Center for Career Development and Employability Training (CCDET) is developing a series of trainings related to dementia care for crisis responders, caregivers, healthcare providers, family and community members, and other professionals. These trainings will be rolled out in phases from January of 2015 through 2017. Registration and course information is available on the UWO Dementia-Capable WISCONSIN website.
