Tracking the State Health Plan 2010 - State-Level Data

A summary report, Tracking a Decade's Progress: Summary Data for Healthiest Wisconsin 2010 (PDF,  636 KB) was released in January 2012, based on the data in this tracking system. Its purpose is to contribute to an assessment of progress made on the HW2010 implementation objectives during the 2000-2010 decade.

Healthiest Wisconsin 2010: A Partnership Plan to Improve the Health of the Public was the Wisconsin state health plan for the decade 2000-2010. The state health plan and its detailed implementation plan were developed in a collaborative process involving many partners across Wisconsin.

This page provides access to state-level data on indicators that track progress toward meeting many of the 2010 objectives. Indicators were developed in the Department of Health Services based on the availability of state-level data to measure a given objective.*

Available indicators are listed below. When you select an indicator, you will see the 2010 target, baseline data (usually for 2000), and years of data subsequent to the baseline as they become available.

Select the indicator of interest.

You can also search for data by health priority area.

*No data was available to measure some of the objectives included in the state health plan. A complete list of the plan's objectives (PDF,  128 KB) is available, along with whether or not an indicator for that objective is included on this website.
