Wisconsin Resource Center - Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer participation is vital. One of the most valued assets of the Wisconsin Resource Center is its volunteers. The volunteer experience is a win/win situation for you and the Wisconsin Resource Center.

You can assist the Wisconsin Resource Center in the delivery of programs and services which will help the inmates to become more productive, educated, self-sufficient, and law abiding citizens.

In turn, your volunteer experience can be very rewarding for you because you will be helping others rise above their circumstances as a direct result of your efforts.

Currently WRC enjoys the services provided by volunteers in most of our religious services programs and drug/alcohol education programs. We have an ongoing need for volunteer workers in religious services, activity therapy, recovery and prerelease programs, and in our education department.

As a Wisconsin Resource Center Volunteer, you may work a very flexible schedule contributing as many hours per week as agreed upon with your Work Area Supervisor. The Wisconsin Resource Center will provide you with adequate training and the appropriate utilization of your time and talent.
