BadgerCare Plus is full coverage Medicaid
It helps Wisconsinites age 0–64 who have low-income. Covered services include doctor visits, prescriptions, urgent and emergency care, lab tests, and more.
Is BadgerCare Plus right for me?
The only way to know if you can enroll in BadgerCare Plus is to apply. There's no open enrollment period—you can apply at any time!

The easiest and fastest way to apply is online using ACCESS (ACCESS in Spanish). You can also apply in person, by phone, or by mail.

How do I use and keep my BadgerCare Plus coverage?
After you're approved to join BadgerCare Plus, you'll get a ForwardHealth card in the mail. Your card helps you get services, prescriptions, and more from providers across Wisconsin!

Be aware of scams
Scam artists get your information to steal your identity. They may charge your credit cards or open new cards. They may use your bank account. Scam artists can write bad checks or take out loans in your name.
If you get health care benefits, be careful about sharing personal information. Make sure you only answer health questions from trusted contacts. Know that for programs like FoodShare, your agency will call you for an interview. They may ask you to answer questions, so they know they’re talking to the right person. If you’re not sure who you’re talking to, hang up the phone. Contact your agency or ForwardHealth Member Services at 800-362-3002.
After you apply for ForwardHealth programs, you should only use ACCESS (ACCESS in Spanish) and MyACCESS mobile app to manage your benefits. If you get FoodShare benefits, you can also view your account details on the ebtEDGE mobile app.
