ACD Automated Case Directory ACD is an online data warehouse that stores reports created from CARES data.  It also allows a user to create their own reports based on their own criteria.  

Users need WebI to access ACD.

ASSET Automated System Support for Employment and Training ASSET is the WIA and TAA case management system Password does not expire. New User ID Information: Fill out a DWSW-10-E.*  Instructions are on the back. For ASSET, on line 16, check the box labeled "ASSET" and choose access type "Case manager," "Viewer" or "Receptionist."

CARES Client Assistance for Reemployment and Economic Support CARES is the mainframe application used to determine eligibility, calculate benefits and manage case activities for the FoodShare, Medicaid, SeniorCare, SSI Caretaker Supplement, Wisconsin Works and Child Care programs 60 days There are several ways to log into CARES.  For HOD issues, see "HOD" below.  

For general CARES ID questions and CARES ID password resets:

CATS Consolidated Automated Tracking System CATS is a tracking system for DCF and DHS staff to monitor CARES and program policy issues and their status. Password does not expire. DWD Help Desk (608) 266-7252

CCA Contact Center Anywhere CCA is the call center application utilized by the consortia and MilES to make and receive calls from their individual call centers. Username and Password are set via WAMS.  Password is all lower case. Consortia Supervisors/Admins should contact the CCA Technical team at vedsccasystems@wisconsin.gov or 608-264-0200.
CCPI Child Care Provider Information CCPI is the system where providers can view authorization and payment information as well as enter attendance data.  Local agency staff may also enter attendance data in CCPI. Password does not expire. New CCPI Requests should be sent to:

CSAW Child Care Statewide Administration of the Web CSAW is the system where local agencies can enter authorizations and provider demographic information.  Password does not expire. New CSAW Requests should be sent to:

CARES Worker Web The CWW is the web version of CARES' Client Registration and Application Entry Subsystems only. The CWW is sometimes referred to as "another window" to CARES.  13 months CWW access is granted through WAMS after a user successfully completes CWW training.  For WAMS issues, see "WAMS" below. See CARES above to receive CARES access.  
DWD Workweb Department of Workforce Development Workweb The DWD Workweb is a secure website for DWD staff and its partner agencies.  It is also known as the "DWD Extranet"

EATS Emergency Assistance Tracking System The Emergency Assistance Tracking System (EATS) is used to verify and track receipt of Emergency Assistance payments. These payments are designed to meet the immediate needs of eligible persons facing a current emergency.  Password does not expire. New User ID Information

Electronic Benefits Transfer This is the system to view information on FoodShare EBT benefits. 30 days DHS Security (608) 261-6317

ECF Electronic Case File ECF is an electronic mechanism for capturing, storing and retrieving case file information which is stored based on the CARES case number or individual PIN/SSN numbers. 13 months Log into WAMS first.  For issues with WAMS, see below.  Then use CARES ID.  For issues with that, see CARES above.
EOS Enterprise Output Solutions EOS is a system that allows users to access reports and data from the CARES and KIDS systems.  The reports are static, as opposed to dynamic reports found in data warehouses. 60 days DHS Security (608) 261-6317

ForwardHealth iC ForwardHealth interChange  ForwardHealth iC is the new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). 30 days HP Security

HOD Host On Demand Host On Demand is an application that is used to view  several state mainframe systems, including CARES, KIDS, and EDSNET. N/A  There is no password for HOD. New User ID Information *

IMQA Income Maintenance Quality Assurance Review System The IMQA Review System, formerly known as FSQA or "Newman" is a web-based application designed to input and track the findings of State Quality Assurance reviews, agency 2nd party reviews, and other review material.  Password does not expire.

New Users must complete the Income Maintenance Quality Assurance (IMQA) Web Request (PDF) form F-16083 The user and user's supervisor sign it and forward it to the county security officer to route to DHS Security. The same form is used for new users and security profile changes. For questions on this contact the DHS Security group, 261-6317, option 1.

KIDS Kids Information Data System The KIDS Information Data System, (KIDS) is a statewide computer system that monitors and facilitates child support case management. Virtually all activity in a child support case is either accomplished using KIDS, or documented in KIDS upon completion. 60 days DCF Security (608) 264-6323 option 2.

LTC Long Term Care Functional Screen Wisconsin's LTC Functional Screen system is an application that collects information about an individual's functional status, health and need for assistance for various adult and children's programs.  Password does not expire. New User ID Information

SAVE Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements The SAVE Program enables Federal, state, and local government agencies to obtain immigration status information they need to determine an applicant's/recipient’s eligibility for many programs of assistance.

When non-citizen applicants apply for federal, state, or local benefits, the benefit issuing agency will access information contained in SAVE via the Alien Status Verification Index (ASVI) database.

WAMS Web Access Management System WAMS allows access to many state of Wisconsin systems.  It's the "key to the front door." The vision of the State’s Web Access Management System (WAMS) is to eventually allow authorized individuals to access State Internet applications using the same means of identification for all State Web applications. Among other things, it is needed to access HOD. 30 years. WISA Wisconsin Integrated Security Application WISA is a systems security application and is only used by a small number of security staff. 13 months WISA uses a WAMS password.  See "WAMS" above.  Local security staff should contact DCF Security for help at (608) 261-6317

YoungStar Child Care Provider Ratings
  1. YoungStar is a public site that allows the parents to view provider/center rating information, search for regulated programs and view violations pertaining to a child care program. (no password/user id for this site)
  2. It is also a secure site for state and regional office staff to enter/view provider information pertaining to the YS program. This system contains all YoungStar related information for child care programs and it generates the star rating.
