FoodShare information includes historical monthly case
counts, recipients and benefits by county and State of Wisconsin. The
reports display only cases that were open and recipients who were
eligible to receive FoodShare. Participation in FoodShare changes as
cases open and close. Annual unduplicated FoodShare figures are also
reported for assistance groups, all recipients, adults and children.

Summary Data:
Each month the department publishes a summary of FoodShare statistics
called FS
Program At-a-Glance. A summary of caseload and
recipient demographics in Wisconsin.
Raw Data:
The department publishes raw statistical data
available in two file
formats:
- Excel 97 & Excel 5.0/95 (.xls): View data in this
format if you have Excel or an application that supports conversion
for Excel files.
- Comma Delimited (.csv): View data in
this format if you do not have Excel or an application that supports
conversion for Excel files.
FoodShare Benefits Payments by Calendar
Year:
This report, sorted by Wisconsin agency, displays the dollar amount
of FoodShare benefits that recipients receive for the report month. As
of November 2000, Wisconsin distributes FoodShare benefits through the
Electronic Benefit System (EBT).

This report, sorted by Wisconsin agency, displays the number of
cases that were open and eligible to receive FoodShare benefits for the
report month. Eligibility is based on categorical or financial criteria
that have been predetermined by the Food and Nutrition Service.
Duplication of caseload occurs between the months.

This report, sorted by Wisconsin agency, displays the number of
eligible persons who were in an open FoodShare case for the report
month. All recipients, in a case, must be U.S. citizens or qualified
aliens who purchase and prepare food as a unit. Duplication of
recipients occurs between the months.

FoodShare Unduplicated Recipients Served by Agency by Calendar Year:
This report displays the number of unduplicated individuals that
were eligible to receive FoodShare, within an agency, at least
once during a specific calendar year. This count of unique recipients is
also broken down into subgroups of eligible adults and eligible
children. Duplication does occur between agencies and the columns may
not be totaled for an unduplicated count.
The "Unduplicated State Total" line is a count of unique recipients,
statewide, that were eligible to receive FoodShare at least one
time during the year.

This report displays the number of unduplicated FoodShare assistance groups that were open and eligible to receive
FoodShare, within
an agency, at least once during a specific calendar year. Duplication
does occur between agencies and the columns may not be totaled for an
unduplicated count.
The "Unduplicated State Total" line
is a count of unique assistance groups, statewide, that were open
and eligible to receive FoodShare at least one time during the year.
