Interlocking gears with the word News imprinted

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is committed to accountability and transparency in its efforts to combat fraud, waste, and abuse in DHS programs. To make that happen, OIG regularly shares results of its achievements and ongoing activities with internal and external stakeholders and the general public. These include monthly statistical outcomes, as well as periodic comprehensive reports detailing overall OIG accomplishments.

Outcome measures

OIG tracks a number of outcome measures, including projected cost avoidance and overpayments established.

Summary reports

OIG periodically publishes reports summarizing the overall accomplishments of our fraud-fighting efforts within DHS and across the state with our various partners.
