Note: Rates are age-adjusted to the 2000 U.S standard population.
The age-adjusted incidence rate for all cancer in males declined from 572.7 per 100,000 population in 1995 to 514.9 per 100,000 in 2008.
The age-adjusted rate for cancer in females remained more stable, at 414.0 in 1995 and 410.9 in 2008. The rate of
cancer incidence remained consistently higher in males than females.
