The Katie Beckett Program special Medicaid eligibility reduces institutionalization of children with severe disabilities by permitting children that meet specific eligibility criteria to access medically necessary services in their home and community, without regard to parental income and assets. This administrative structure assures compliance with federal regulations under 42 CFR 435.225, and improves program administration and responsiveness to children and their families.

FOODSHARE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING (FSET) PROGRAM SERVICES, PHASE 1
FSET is a free employment and training program designed to provide FoodShare recipients with assistance and support necessary to obtain competitive employment. FSET also provides one option by which Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWDs) may meet the mandatory work requirement necessary to maintain eligibility for FoodShare. The program strives to identify the strengths, needs, and preferences of job seekers and offers individualized services to improve job-seeking skills and increase employment opportunities. Program components include job search, work experience, workfare, education and vocational training, self-employment, and job retention.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Health Care Access and Accountability, seeks innovative proposals to administer the program for ABAWDs and non-ABAWDs in Wisconsin’s Southeast Workforce Development Area, Region 1 (Kenosha, Racine, and Walworth counties) with a primary goal of improving participants' employment outcomes through efficient, evidence-based program administration and service provision.
The initial contract will be for twenty-nine (29) months (two years and five months) with two one-year renewal options for a total contract term not to exceed fifty-three (53) months (four years and five months).

Collaborative Crisis Intervention Services to Youth
The Department of Health Services (DHS) represented by the Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (DMHSAS) invites counties alone or in collaboration with other counties (consortium) to submit a proposal for the development and implementation of programs designed to, at minimum, fulfill the requirements of DHS 34, Subchapter III in the provision of Crisis Intervention Services to Youth. Proposals must encompass approaches that result in improved access, services and outcomes for youth, age birth to 20, who have an apparent severe emotional disturbance (SED).

Graduate Medical Education New Program Grant
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) was authorized in the state’s biennial budget for 2014-2015 (Act 20), to develop a grant program to support development of new graduate medical education (GME) programs. The purpose of this solicitation is to provide entities currently considering establishing a GME program in one of the targeted specialties with information to assist in preparing and submitting applications for funds. The five specialties are: family medicine, general internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics and psychiatry.
