Child Psychiatry Consultation Program

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announces the availability of funds made available through Wisconsin ACT 127, which appropriates state General Purpose Revenue funds for a statewide Child Psychiatry Consultation Program. These funds are administered through the Department of Health Services, Title V Program, which also provides funding and support to local and tribal health agencies and other organizations that support the well-being of mothers, children, and families. Funded project will help advance one or more of the Title V Program’s priorities, and selected applicants will work with the Title V Program to develop an approved budget, budget narrative, and a comprehensive work plan that outlines specific project deliverables.

Funding availability

This application has an initial 12-month contract from July 1, 2024, to June 30th, 2025, with renewal funding available through June 30, 2029 for $2,000,000 annually. DHS reserves the right to increase or decrease the award levels and scope of individual contracts during the contract period, and/or reconfigure the program model at any time during the funding cycle based on the conditions noted above or a lack of adequate performance on the part of the grantee.

Application instructions

Interested agencies should apply by answering the questions in the funding announcement attachment. All questions must be answered to be eligible for funding. Applicants are encouraged to review the scoring criteria.
